Make the most of the school holidays with a delicious day out at The Chocolateries Great Ocean Road, where there’s something sweet for every age to enjoy. Entry is FREE, we are open daily from 9am–5pm and only a short trip from Melbourne, it’s the perfect stop to relax, indulge and keep the kids entertained.
Start your adventure by picking up a Chocolaterie Discovery Map in the Showroom. Wander through our stunning grounds on a seek-and-find mission to spot 12 hidden items. Complete the challenge and earn a yummy reward. It’s completely FREE and fun for the whole family. Burn off the holiday energy in our orchard, wetlands, and landscape play areas, plus meet our resident chickens and guinea pigs too.
Afterwards, head to the production windows and watch our talented Chocolatiers handcrafting an amazing array of favourites, classics, new creations and more… in action!
April School Holiday Activities
This April, the calendar is packed with hands-on chocolate experiences. Chocolate lovers can roll up their sleeves and get creative with Giant Chocolate Lollipop Making Days, running every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am – 2pm from 6th–17th April. It’s fun, affordable and no bookings are required—just drop in and join the action.

Junior Chocolatier Classes
Taste & Create Rocky Road
For kids ready to take their skills to the next level, the Junior Chocolatier Classes (ages 6–12) and Junior Chocolatier Masterclasses (ages 9–14) offer a more immersive experience. Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7th–16th April, these sessions are perfect for young chocolate lovers keen to learn from the experts. Bookings are essential, so be sure to plan ahead.
If you’re after a shared experience, the Taste & Create Rocky Road Workshops are a fantastic option. Running on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, these sessions invite families to enjoy a guided chocolate tasting before creating their own sweet treats to take home.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt! Join in the fun on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday for exciting Easter Egg Hunts that are sure to delight little (and big) kids alike.
With free entry, an all-day café, stunning showroom displays, plenty of chocolate to sample plus our resident chickens and guinea pigs to visit with, The Chocolaterie Great Ocean Road is the ultimate school holiday destination.
