Looking for fun things to do on the Great Ocean Road this February?
The Ice Cream Festival at Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie returns from 11–22 February with three rotating menus packed with creative ice cream flavours, gelato and sorbet. Each menu runs for four days, giving visitors plenty of reasons to come back for more.
Menu 1 (11–14 February): Fresh & Fruity Favourites
This menu brings refreshing summer vibes. Salted Pumpkin Seeds delivers a creamy, nutty gelato with a subtle savoury edge — perfect for those who love sweet-meets-salty ice cream. Chia Pudding & Mixed Berry Fro-yo blends frozen yoghurt with berry swirls for a lighter, feel-good scoop. For pure refreshment, Peach Iced Tea Sorbet is a standout, offering delicate peach sweetness in a cool, thirst-quenching sorbet.
Menu 2 (15–18 February): Indulgent & Irresistible
Bakery-inspired comfort takes centre stage with Cinnamon Scroll, a rich, spiced gelato that tastes like your favourite pastry in frozen form. Butterscotch Ripple Cookie Dough layers creamy butterscotch with cookie dough chunks for classic ice cream indulgence. For something bold, Crunchy Hot Honey combines sweet honey gelato with a gentle chilli warmth and honeycomb crunch.
Menu 3 (19–22 February): Classics Reimagined
The final menu celebrates nostalgic desserts. Lemon Meringue Duo pairs zesty lemon gelato with meringue and lemon curd for a bright citrus hit. Vanilla Slice transforms the Aussie favourite into silky vanilla custard gelato with pastry pieces. Pistachio Tiramisu rounds out the festival with nutty pistachio and coffee notes in a decadent Italian-inspired gelato.
