There’s always fun to be had at the Chocolateries – and School Holidays is a favourite time to welcome chocolate lovers of all ages to our destinations in the Yarra Valley, on the Great Ocean Road and Mornington Peninsula.
Make a day of it and come discover our wonderland of chocolate creations, ice creamery and so much more – read on for ideas to create an extra sweet outing the whole family will love over the coming weeks. We’re open every day 9-5pm with free entry, free tastings and choc loads of fun.
The sweetest classroom
Our ever popular Junior Chocolatier Classes return for the School Holidays with a special program of classes nearly sold out!
Be sure to snap up your spot for your little chocolate lover aged 6-12 to join our 45 minute hands on classes in our parents free zone. They’ll make three of their their very own creations to take home plus receive a Chefs hat, name badge, apron and graduation certificate. $40 per child. Bookings a must. Look out for our new Junior Pastry Chef Classes at our Yarra Valley destination too, perfect for your budding young master-chefs.
Hop for Hope – chocolate for a very special cause
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is very close to our hearts, having supported them since 2015 in their efforts to keep children safe at home, at play and at school.
Our specially created ‘Hop for Hope’ chocolate coins are just one of the Chocolaterie’s many fundraising initiatives for the Foundation – and on Alannah and Madeline Day, Tuesday September 12 we’ll be donating 100% of all Hop for Hope chocolates sold to the Foundation.
Join with us in marking the day – you can purchase our Hop for Hope chocolate coins for $9.95 per 135g pack at the Chocolateries or online at our e-store on 12 September to ensure a 100% donation.

Explore, discover and indulge…
If you’re venturing to our homes in the Yarra Valley or the Surf Coast these School Holidays, allow enough time to explore our beautiful landscaped grounds, discover our wetlands, orchard and kitchen gardens, meet our farm animals, enjoy our play areas and take a seat in our all day Cafés. Or if your school holiday plans take you to the Mornington Peninsula, wander the charming seaside village of Flinders, take a walk on the pier or the beach.
Our Spring menus offer hearty breakfast options, brunch ’til 4.30pm and delicious lunch dishes, a kids menu too and of course, our daily pastries, famous desserts, Sensational Sundaes, chocolate Fondues and piping hot Belgian Waffles are always so tempting.
No bookings are needed in our all day Cafés.
Plus, at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie grown ups can now order from our drinks menu – a new offering with local wines, craft beer and spirits to enjoy with your lunch. Cheers!
Join a Tasting Session
Chocolate lovers of all ages should add one of our Chocolate Tasting Sessions ($3pp) to your school holiday to-do-list. Indulge in samples of ten of our favourite creations and learn more about the art of chocolate making. They’re held four times times daily at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie at 10am, 11am, 1pm or 2pm; and three times daily at Great Ocean Road and Mornington Peninsula Chocolateries at 11am, 1pm or 3pm.
